Yet again I ran out of time for my monthly inspiration post but I really love these blogs so better late than never. Life has been totally hectic with my uni workload, placement at Scottish Book Trust and starting work as a freelancer for Gray Line Iceland. Luckily, I knew which products I was desperate to share with you so that made my job a lot easier. Here are my favourites from October.
1. Humble Stuff Cleaning Products, £5
If you read my full review of Humble Stuff then you’ll know Humble Stuff is my latest cruelty-free discovery and I’ll never go back to cleaning with commercial products! These beautiful and naturally scented cleaners will make your house smell and look amazing. Humble Stuff is a small company run by the wonderful Marie based in my favourite city, Glasgow. Humble Stuff are currently making Winter Blend scented products as the festive period approaches so don’t miss out!
2. Meraki Villainous Candles, £17.99
I’ve raved about Meraki Candles on my blog before (July 2016 Homespiration: Candle Edition and Why I Love Meraki Candles) and I post a lot of pictures of these literary candles on my Instagram too. This is the first Meraki Candle box I’ve purchased and I was not disappointed. It is villainous themed in the spirit of all things Halloween! This box came with four small tin candles in a variety of spooky books scents (Darkling, Umbridge, Black Jack Randall and Demogorgon) as well as some amazing villainous book merchandise. I’ll be writing a full unboxing post soon so I won’t give too much away but I definitely recommend Meraki Candles monthly boxes. You can buy the December ‘Tale as Old as Time’ box on Etsy, it’ll make a gorgeous Christmas gift.
Buy some literary candles on Meraki Candles’ Etsy site. You can follow Heather on Twitter and Instagram.
3. Shari Scribbles Outlander Bookmarks, £6.31
I received a little magnetic Jamie Fraser bookmark in the amazing Nerdy Post Outlander box (full unboxing coming soon) It came with a unique 15% off code for the Shari Scribbles store. Within minutes I was on Etsy buying the regular sized Claire and Jamie ‘Outlander Wedding’ set. Shari is the sweetest seller and all of her bookmarks are very reasonably priced. The next on my wishlist is the set of Stranger Things bookmarks to match my Meraki Demogorgon candle!
